Dr. Jeffrey Hyman
Dr. Jeffrey Hyman completed his internship and residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn New York, in 1984, under the guidance and mentorship of Dr. David Grob, a pioneer in myasthenia gravis research. In September 1984, following completion of his residency program, Dr. Hyman started one of the “first walk-in no appointment needed” primary care offices in Brooklyn NY, which he named “The Treat and Release Center” in Bay Ridge Brooklyn in September of 1984. It was there where the focus of primary care and preventive health became the center of his medical practice. He currently remains active there seeing patients. Dr. Hyman has developed a working understanding of all his patients and has strived to achieve better health for them through preventive care programs and more recently through Remote Patient Monitoring for Essential Hypertension, Diabetes and Weight loss.
Dr. Hyman has worked diligently with ACOs, insurance companies, and hospital systems, to improve the outcomes of all his patients and is extremely proud of the University Physicians Group of which Dr. Hyman is the current medical director, which has consistently achieved remarkable quality scores. This group is a division of the Northwell Health Partners.
Dr. Hyman is also the CMO of a national EHR company, Aprima Medical Software, a division of eMDS, which is now part of CompuGroup Medical, CGM, one of the leading eHealth companies in the world.
